The Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) is a charity dedicated to improving outcomes for people affected by Primary Bone Cancer, a devastating condition which can affect people of all ages but is more common in children, teenagers and young adults than it is for other age groups. We aim to achieve this improvement through Research, Awareness, Information and Support.
An exciting opportunity has arisen at BCRT, for a Community Fundraiser. The main purpose of this role is to develop and enhance current volunteer-led fundraising activities throughout the UK and Ireland.
This person will be the point of contact for those fundraising in the community in aid of BCRT, and will be responsible for developing, delivering and sustaining a network of supporter groups, to grow local fundraising activities in a co-ordinated manner. The ability to demonstrate experience of recruiting, managing and motivating volunteers with a track record of successfully growing community fundraising income is essential.
This is a fantastic role for someone who has passion for community fundraising and who will enjoy working in a small, highly motivated team.
