July is international #SarcomaAwareness month and is a perfect opportunity to raise vital bone sarcoma awareness and funds for this under invested and under profiled disease.
Sarcoma is a cancer that develops in the supporting tissues in the body. These include; fat, muscle, blood vessels, deep skin tissues, nerves, tendons and ligaments, the tissues around the joints and in the bone. Bone sarcoma is commonly known as primary bone cancer. Awareness of symptoms and early detection are crucial to improving outcomes for patients.
During Sarcoma Awareness Month 2018 we want to reach as many people as we can to raise the profile of this rare and brutal disease.
