Bake a Cake 2009

Celebrities and supporters alike donned their chefs whites and Baked a Cake for BCRT in 2009!

A huge thank you to all of our supporters who took part in Bake a Cake for Bone Cancer during Awareness Week 2009 supported by Mr Kipling.

Fifty Bake a Cake events were organised around the country, from afternoon tea at a tennis club to a party in the park, and from a cake sale in a hospital ward to a Thames boat trip.

Cake competitions and sales were held in workplaces, schools and tea rooms across the Country. Whatever was organised, all who took part had a great time, and at the same time raised over £20,000 towards our work.

Inspired by James Corden's 'Smithy's cake', you have been baking in your dozens to help us make our first ever Bake a Cake event a huge success! From the pictures we received, it seems some of you have hidden baking talents!
