The Bone Cancer Conference is an excellent way for the primary bone cancer community to come together, this free event is completely unique for our community and offers an uplifting and supportive environment for all. Whether you join us from the Friday evening or Saturday morning you will be welcome throughout. The event ends with a complimentary informal buffet dinner for guests on Saturday evening - allowing plenty of time and opportunity to make new connections and share experiences.

Our full conference programme will be confirmed closer to the date of the event, news and updates of these will be released on our Facebook page.
The conference programme will include; themed support sessions, dedicated children & teenager support zones, inspirational talks by current and former patients with the opportunity for discussion afterwards, news of the latest developments in medical research for the primary bone cancer community, interactive Q&A sessions, updates on future planned activities by the charity, safe and private forums for patients to share personal experiences and create connections.
Free drinks and refreshments will be available throughout the conference for all guests.

A current patient
For your comfort and convenience a number of rooms are available free of charge for guests on the evening of Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June. Priority will be given to patients and their families and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Disabled access, double, twin and family rooms are available. If you would like to request a room, please do so when booking your place in the 'Do you have any other requirements you would like the charity to be aware of?' section of the booking form, please indicate the type of room required and also if you would like a room on the 28th and 29th or just one of the dates.

Assistance with travel costs
One of our main priorities it to ensure that patients (current or former) that want to attend the Bone Cancer Conference are able to do so. To this end we have limited funds available to assist guests with travel costs. Priority will be given to patients and to those travelling great distance, assistance is not guaranteed and should be requested prior to booking. To request assistance please contact us providing details of your situation and the travel required to attend the Bone Cancer Conference.
The Bone Cancer Conference is free to attend by our community. Drinks, refreshments, lunch, evening meal and accommodation (as detailed above) will be provided free of charge thanks to the support of a financial grant from Takeda UK Ltd. We understand that costs can be a concern for many, we also know that costs can prevent those wishing to attend from attending. The Bone Cancer Conference is for our all community and we delighted to have secured support allowing us to offer options that allow all to attend who would wish to.

Free parking is available on site for all guests.
Guests of the Bone Cancer Conference can use all leisure facilities at the Village Hotel free of charge during your stay with us. With activities for adults and children, as well as full disabled access, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Leisure programme will be available closer to the date of the event.
