Introducing ‘The Glitter Ball’
Join us on Saturday 11th November 2017 at the Royal Armouries, Leeds from 7pm for an evening of spectacular live entertainment!
10 years ago Al Dawson passed away after losing his battle with osteosarcoma.
To commemorate this 10 year anniversary Al's family are hosting 'The Glitter Ball' to develop his legacy and carry out his wishes to support the life saving work of the Bone Cancer Research Trust.
Upon arrival you'll be greeted in ‘The Street’ hall with a flame lit, red carpet, sparkling drinks reception. Moving through into The Royal Armouries Hall, you will be treated to a 3 course evening meal of seasonal food whilst you take in the array of spectacular live entertainment.
During the evening you will hear about the outstanding achievements and the difference the charity is making to those affected by this rare and devastating disease.
This black-tie evening will be filled with entertainment, money-can't-buy prizes, celebration and dancing. It is certain to be a night to remember.

Includes sparkling reception and 3 course evening meal.
There are a limited number of tables for 12 available which will be taken on a first come, first served basis. The remaining tables will be for 10 people. If you book 10 tickets you will be placed on a table of 10.
Please note: The Glitter Ball is a guest list event, therefore printed tickets will not be sent out prior to the event taking place.

Directions to the venue
The Royal Armouries Museum is located at Leeds Dock, just a short distance from Leeds City Centre.
The full venue address is: The Royal Armouries Museum, Armouries Drive, Leeds LS10 1LT. The museum is well signposted on all major routes as you approach Leeds. Follow the brown tourism signs for Royal Armouries with the ‘horned helmet’ logo.
From the North: Follow brown tourism signs on the A64.
From the East: M62 east users exit M621 at junction 4 and follow the brown tourism signs.
From the South: M1 users exit M621 at junction 4 and follow the brown tourism signs. A1 users follow brown tourism signs on the A64.
From the West: M62 users exit M621 at junction 3 and follow the brown tourism signs.
There is a drop-off point, close to the disabled parking spaces, 100 metres from the Museum entrance across Armouries Square which is an open, level, paved area. Access to the museum entrance from the disabled parking spaces is step free.
There is a secure 24hr fully-manned car park, managed by CitiPark, located only 100 metres from the museum entrance at Leeds Dock. The car park has over 1600 bays, and has CCTV and security patrols. More information on fees and facilities can be found on the CitiPark website.
Parking spaces for visitors with disabilities are available on the ground floor of the nearby multi-storey car park. These are chargeable.

The Royal Armouries Museum is within walking distance of Leeds Central Train Station (New Station St, Leeds LS1 4DY, UK). There are a number of options of how to get to the museum.
About 10-15mins walk. Follow the brown tourist signs for ‘Royal Armouries’ and/or speak to the tourist information centre in the train station who can offer directions.
Cost approx. £4 from the taxi rank at the front of the station.
Bus services run regularly from the rail station on Neville Street, stop Z3 (Service 70)
