Join Team Bones and take part in one of these fantastic running events taking place around the UK throughout the year. All Team Bones participants will receive:

BUPA GREAT EDINBURGH RUN – SUNDAY 4 MAY 2008
The spectacular 10k Edinburgh route takes runners past some key city sites including Holyrood Park, the Scottish Parliament and the Royal Mile. The event has been voted Scotland’s number one road race by readers of Runners World. The event makes up a weekend of Great Running because the Tesco Junior and Mini Great Edinburgh Run take place in The Meadows on Saturday 3 May.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust has a limited number of guaranteed places available for this run. We ask each participant to pay their registration fee of £26 and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of just £150. If you are interested in joining Team Bones in the BUPA Great Edinburgh Run, please email david@bonecancerresearch.org.uk or call the fundraising office on 0113 2621852.
We also ask that anyone who wants to run for Team Bones also applies through the BUPA ballot system, this will mean that we can offer our places to people who are unable to get a place in this way and will have as many people as possible running for Team Bones.

In the five years since its first staging the BUPA Great Manchester Run is now recognised as one of the World’s premier 10k running events taking in the sites of Manchester’s vibrant city centre.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust has a limited number of guaranteed places available for this run. We ask each participant to pay their registration fee of £30 and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of just £150. If you are interested in joining Team Bones in the BUPA Great Manchester Run, please email david@bonecancerresearch.org.uk or call the fundraising office on 0113 2621852.

JANE TOMLINSON’S RUN FOR ALL - LEEDS – Sunday 22 June 2008
Would you like to take part in the Leeds 10km Jane Tomlinson's 'Run for All' and raise money for the Bone Cancer Research Trust? This is the second year of this fantastic major event for people of all abilities. Run it, walk it, wheel it, hop it!! It is entirely your choice. BUPA GREAT NORTH RUN – NEWCASTLE – Sunday 5 October 2008
The BUPA Great North Run is the world’s biggest half marathon, with 50,000 runners expected to take part in the 28th running of the event in 2008. The course is point-to-point starting in Newcastle and finishing in South Shields crossing over the famous Tyne Bridge on the way.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust has a limited number of guaranteed places available for this run. We ask each participant to pay their registration fee of £40 and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of just £275. ROYAL PARKS HALF MARATHON – Sunday 12 October 2008
The Bone Cancer Research Trust has secured 50 places in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, which is taking place on 12 October 2008. You could be one of the 12,500 runners who will race through four Royal Parks, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.
We ask each participant to pay their registration fee of £40 and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of just £275. We will also be greeting all of our runners following this run at our site in the charity marquee in the People’s Village.
BUPA GREAT SOUTH RUN – PORTSMOUTH – Sunday 22 October 2008
The BUPA Great South Run takes place in Portsmouth and is Britain's leading 10-mile running event. A fast, flat route in Southsea, Portsmouth is the ideal course to record a personal best and is regarded as one of the most popular road races in the United Kingdom.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust has a limited number of guaranteed places available for this run. We ask each participant to pay their registration fee of £32 and then pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of just £200.
