Due to unprecedented demand we are delighted to be holding two Bone Cancer Conferences in 2020. To assist with people travelling to our flagship support event we will be holding one in the north and one in the south of the UK. The first will take place on 13th June in Watford, London and the second will be on 17th October in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester.
Whether you’re a patient, former patient, family member, supporter,
researcher or medical professional - everyone is welcome to join us
at the Bone Cancer Conference for a day of inspiration and support.
What to expect from the Bone Cancer Conference
- News of the latest developments in bone cancer research
- Opportunities to meet and hear from other patients and families
- Updates on the Bone Cancer Research Trust’s wider work and how you can get involved
- Specialist information and support for those affected by bone cancer
- Complimentary refreshments throughout the day and lunch for all guests
Here's what a current patient had to say about last year's event:
I didn’t want to go home, I’ve felt so isolated and alone for so long, finally being around other patients with my disease was incredible. I now have people who I can turn to and who will help me moving forward

Assistance with travel costs
One of our main priorities it to ensure that patients (current or former) that want to attend the Bone Cancer Conference(s) are able to do so. To this end we have limited funds available to assist guests with travel costs. Priority will be given to patients and to those travelling great distance, assistance is not guaranteed and should be requested prior to booking. To request assistance please contact us providing details of your situation and the travel required to attend the Bone Cancer Conference.
The Bone Cancer Conference is free to attend by our community. Drinks, refreshments, lunch, evening meal and accommodation (as detailed above) will be provided free of charge thanks to the support of a financial grant from Takeda UK Ltd. We understand that costs can be a concern for many, we also know that costs can prevent those wishing to attend from attending. The Bone Cancer Conference is for all our community and we delighted to have secured support allowing us to offer options that allow all to attend who would wish to do so.
