Join the Lake District Challenge and take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Test yourself on a fantastic Ultra Challenge – suitable for all experience levels – and you’ll get the best support and hospitality all the way.

Our Challenge Base Camp is in Kendal. From there it’s a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves – with some stunning views enroute – before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey.

2 Day Daylight 100km - Kendal to Windermere to Kendal - 12th & 13th June

2nd Half Challenge 51km - Lakeside, Windermere to Kendal - 13th June

1st Quarter Challenge 28km - Kendal to Ambleside - 12th June 2021

I’ve got my own place

If you have secured your on place in the event we would love for you to join our team! You will receive the same support as a charity place participant and there is no fundraising target, we simply ask that you raise as much as you can. Entry Fee Options Explained:

OPTION 1 - CHARITY FUNDRAISING

Pay a low registration fee and meet our minimum sponsorship requirements (see options on the right hand side).

OPTION 2 - MIXED FUNDING:

A lower fundraising target - and you pay half the event place cost.

OPTION 3 - SELF FUNDING:

You pay the full cost of the entry fee. There is no target associated with this option, but we ask that you raise as much as you can for the Bone Cancer Research Trust.
