Skegvegas 2020 - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Due to concerns over public safety, and in-keeping with current advice from the UK government regarding the current COVID19 outbreak, the organisers of Skegvegas have decided to postpone the event until further notice. Bone Cancer Research Trust will endeavour to update this page as soon as we hear anything from the event organisers – whether it’s a rescheduling of the event, or a cancellation. If you have any questions in the meantime, please email

In May 2010, over 150 cyclists rode 92 miles from Loughborough to Skegness in memory of Tom Walker. In doing so, they raised over £67,000 for the Bone Cancer Research Trust. Ten years later, we hope to have even more cyclists complete the ride again to remember Tom.

This 95 mile ride, through beautiful countryside and quiet villages is one not to be missed for keen cyclists and beginners, alike! Challenge yourself and enjoy the company and support of other cyclists whilst raising vital funds to help find a cure for primary bone cancer.
