Walk With Me
Walk With Me is a fun, flexible and inclusive walking challenge that invites everyone to take part by completing a 1K walk, or more if you fancy it!
There's no pressure, no competition, and no set route. You choose when, where and how you take part. Whether you're walking, wheeling, pushing a pram, or strolling with friends, every step counts.
This challenge is open to all ages and abilities, including those who don't see themselves as "athletes". From individuals and families to schools, workplaces and community groups, if you move, you can join in.
And to say thank you for your amazing support, everyone who takes part will receive a certificate. Participants who raise £25 or more through fundraising, or by making a voluntary donation, will also receive a fantastic Walk With Me finisher medal.
How to Take Part
Getting involved is easy:
1. Plan your walk
Decide who you'll walk with, when you'll do it, and where you'll go.
2. Sign up
Complete our quick registration form. You'll receive a welcome email asking for a few details about your event.
3. Choose how you'd like to support us
Option 1: Fundraise
- Create your JustGiving page using our link, or
- Download a Sponsorship Form to collect donations offline.
Option 2: Make a voluntary donation
- If you'd prefer not to fundraise, you can make a voluntary donation of £25 using our donation link.
- Participants who make a voluntary donation of £25 will receive a Walk With Me finisher medal and certificate, just like those who raise £25 or more through fundraising.
4. Spread the word
Share your fundraising page with friends, family, colleagues and on social media to boost your support.
5. Walk, wheel, or roll your 1K
Have fun, enjoy the moment, and remember to take plenty of photos.
6. Share your story
Post your photos and experiences on social media using #WalkWithMeChallenge and tag us. We love seeing your journeys!
7. Celebrate!
Once you've completed your walk, we'll send your certificate. If you've raised £25 or more, or made a voluntary donation of £25, we'll also send your finisher medal.

I've registered. What happens next?
We'll be in touch with a warm welcome and to confirm the details of your walk.
Can teams or groups take part?
Yes, absolutely! One main contact just needs to register, and we'll then gather details for the rest of the group and discuss what needs to happen for everyone to receive their certificate and any medals they qualify for.
Where and when does the walk take place?
That's completely up to you. Walk solo, with family and friends, or as part of a school, workplace or community group. Choose a place that's meaningful to you: a park, playground, route near home, or anywhere you love.
How do I fundraise and send in donations?
The easiest way is through a JustGiving page, where donations are sent to us automatically. If you fundraise offline, we'll let you know the best way to send donations once your walk is complete. Any voluntary donations can be made using the donation link.
When will I receive my medal and certificate?
We'll send your certificate as soon as your event is finished. Participants who raise £25 or more, or make a voluntary donation of £25, will also receive a Walk With Me finisher medal.
