Our Special Funds are usually set up in memory of a loved one, inspired by someone who has survived primary bone cancer or set up by a person living with primary bone cancer.
About our Special Funds
By setting up a Special Fund, you are able to fundraise in the name of your loved one and are provided with a unique identity. By uniting together we form a stronger community and combine our efforts towards finding a cure for primary bone cancer. We look after your administrative tasks such as the legal stuff, thanking supporters and Gift Aid so that you can concentrate solely on raising much needed funds and awareness.
100% of the funds raised by Special Funds will be spent on furthering our charitable objectives of funding life saving research, raising vital awareness, providing information and offering support to those that need it.
What do others do?
Those running Special Funds have complete control over their fundraising, you can choose how you wish to raise funds and when. We have seen many different activities undertaken, below are just a few examples:
- Make & bake sales
- Friends & family coffee mornings and garden parties
- Bucket collections & bag packs
- Treks abroad, cycle challenges, runs and swims
- Annual dinners, galas, balls or golf days
- Extreme challenges from sky dives to zip wires and anything in between
