This year's Bone Research Society meeting was held in Liverpool and attended by our Biobank Facilitator Zoe Davison and Research and Information Officer Hannah Birkett, who exhibited our work and provided a short update on the Bone Cancer Research Trust biobank at the rare diseases session.

The conference was an excellent opportunity to exhibit our work and meet a number of useful new contacts, including junior researchers working in the primary bone cancer field and representatives from other charities such as the Padget's Association.

Huge congratulations to Luke Tattersall, our 1st year PhD student at The University of Sheffield, for winning the prize for overall best poster! Luke beat off competition from around 100 other posters to secure this award.

Luke is currently working with Dr Alison Gartland on a Bone Cancer Research Trust funded project to investigate a potential new target for the treatment of osteosarcoma.
