The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a significant impact on the primary bone cancer community and that’s why the Bone Cancer Research Trust is taking part in a multicentre research project to represent the experiences, concerns and support needs of members of the primary bone cancer community who are shielding.
This UK-wide study is being carried out by the University of Huddersfield and aims to capture the difficulties you have encountered, how you have coped, what helped, what didn’t help and importantly, what we, and indeed the government, could do to make things easier.
This information can only come from you, so we would like to invite you to participate.
The results will inform health professionals and policy makers during the current COVID-19 pandemic. It will also facilitate future planning, should a second wave or similar situation ever arise. Importantly, we will be able to access, separate and interpret the results from the primary bone cancer community, therefore helping us to better support you now and in the future.
Below you can find the details of the survey and how to join in, please note that are two versions, depending if you are completing it as yourself or as a family member:
Survey for people aged 18+ who are shielding or were shielding and are no longer doing so
Survey for family members of people aged 18+ who are shielding or were shielding and are no longer doing so
