We are proud to be uniting with leading prosthetics manufacturer, Steeper, for a two-year charity partnership.
At the heart of this collaboration is a commitment to improving the lives of bone cancer patients as we work together to raise awareness, fundraise, and provide volunteering opportunities for clinical and non-clinical staff.
Colleagues at Steeper will fundraise for our vital work through a series of fundraising events, commencing with their 'Makers Market' craft fair on 29th November.
As a major provider of prosthetics, orthotics and accessible technology, Steeper is committed to improving products and services that will both support and empower patients.
This partnership between the Bone Cancer Research Trust and Steeper Group represents a commitment to supporting individuals through their treatment and beyond.
Zoe Davison, Director of Research & Information at the Bone Cancer Research Trust, said:
Steeper Group's dedication to improving lives aligns beautifully with our charitable objectives. With their help, we have the power to continually provide crucial support to bone cancer patients when they need it most. We are proud to work alongside Steeper to make this vision a reality.
Andrew Nicol, Director of Clinical Services and Operations Board Member at Steeper, added:
As an organisation that supports amputees, this partnership adds another dimension to our commitment to patients. By partnering with the Bone Cancer Research Trust, our employees will be able to volunteer and participate in adrenaline-fuelled events and challenges all in aid of finding a cure.
The partnership officially launched in October 2024 and will extend through October 2026.
