To mark 100 years since James Ewing first described Ewing sarcoma, the Bone Cancer Research Trust and Professor Sue Burchill would like to celebrate the research that has taken place since this discovery by holding an International Ewing Sarcoma Research Symposium. The day will bring together researchers from all over the world, to showcase current translational research in order to identify challenges and gaps to determine the focus for future research.
The day will consist of a combination of keynote, and short presentations, followed by group discussion and networking opportunities.
We are delighted to announce that Professor Jeff Toretsky, Georgetown University, USA and Dr Didier Surdez, Institut Curie, France, will be joining us to give key note speeches which will form part of an exciting agenda. Short presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts. A full programme for the day will be available closer to the event.
The symposium will take place on Friday 16th October 2020 (11am to 16.30 BST) and, due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, will be held as a virtual meeting.
To register for this event, please complete the form below. Researchers wishing to submit abstracts should contact the Bone Cancer Research Trust for guidance and should submit abstracts by close of business on the 11th September.
We hope you will join us for what promises to be an exciting day, ensuring we continue to make progress for Ewing sarcoma patients.
